How PMCert uses artificial intelligence

Where AI helps, where it never decides and what happens to the data sent to it.

What is done with AI

AI works as a draft and as triage, always with a rule or a person after it:

  • Drafting questions for the free assessments. No draft is used without a person reviewing it, and every approved question first goes through a trial period that does not count towards the score.
  • Translating and explaining the guides and the glossary, always from the official guides, with automatic checks before publishing and human review by sampling.
  • Triage: the classification of testimonials, which can only hold a testimonial for review and never release it, and the FAQ assistant, which only answers from the FAQ, the handbook and the policy and offers contact when it does not know.

What is never decided by AI

  • Passing the certification exam, which follows from the pass mark published in each certification blueprint.
  • Revoking a credential, which is an administrative act with a recorded reason.
  • Publishing a testimonial rated 3 or lower, which is never published.

What happens to the data

Before any text goes to an AI provider, detected emails, phone numbers, web addresses and personal names are removed from it. No account, purchase or certification exam data is sent.

PMCert only uses providers contracted without the data sent being used to train models. When an AI feature is on, the provider is listed among the processors in the privacy policy.
